I see these women who look so chic and whenever I wear a scarf it just looks messy and thrown on. I know there is a secret to the tying. Anyone care to share?MS

Use a pin? I find the knot part the most difficult to arrange neatly, could you wrap the scarf around your neck a couple of times and then pin the ends instead of knotting them?
